Trip to Pewee's Nest in Baraboo. I really like this place because it is a real short hike to get back here and the water is shallow enough that Kaya can play in it. Or as he called it "swimming."
We had a great easter. Kaya got a basket full of goodies. We tried to limit his candy intake.
His favorite thing out of this basket was the chapstick.
We headed out to Heidenreich's for a very tasty brunch.
Erica and my mom hid eggs out in the yard at the Heidenreich's. Kaya really got into finding them. He needed little direction - has eyes like a hawk.
Funny story. My mom put frosted animal crackers in his eggs and erica put yogurt covered raisins, pretzels and jelly beans in some. He really enjoys the yogurt covered raisins and the jelly beans were kind of new to him but who doesn't like jelly beans!? He fell asleep in the car and when we got home I unbuckled him and pulled him out and he lifted his head up and said "EGGS!" and then layed his head back down on my shoulder and fell asleep again.
We went and visited Todd, Nichole and Logan for the weekend. He's a cute little guy. I don't think I heard him cry once. Just a little grunting every now and again. The folks also came down on Saturday. Grandpa Reuber made this stork a few years back. Kaya was all about holding Logan. He pronounces his name very well. Thanks for the birthday cake Nichole. You can spell my name however you want :) One last thing, today is my birthday!
